Was Bob Dylan's poetry influenced by T.S. Elliot?

I had read somewhere that it was... Not entirely sure though. Were either his poems from his book "Tarantula" or any of his lyrics influenced by T.S. Elliot's style? Some academic evidence would be nice!

I don't think so. Dylan is beautifully lyrical. He uses images, but is not cryptic. I love his poetry btw.

I don't know about specifics - looked briefly but couldn't find anything. There's no doubt that Dylan has read Elliot and has to a degree been influenced by him.
