What do you think of this ACROSTIC using Freedom?

ACROSTIC (Freedom)



Forever it flies over the halls of justice;
revered as beloved symbol across the land
every heart feels humbled by her anthem.
Each pledge made beneath her liberty and
dream fulfilled in her history is part of her glory.
Over her adoring people she waves her colors,
my country's flag from sea to shining sea.

Patriotic and yet universal

Opening up my yearning soul and letting her breath

Ebbing and flowing lines dance in a balanced sea of words

Tugging at freedom's grace and fiddling with Americanism

Reminiscent of life in the 1800's

Yelling out in a silent voice, "let freedom ring"



Sorry... suckish answer to your question. These are all the qualities I loved about this poem and how it made me feel. It really does flow, no kidding, I was rocking back and forth as I read it!

It's just simply a sweet, patriotic, optimistic, short poem. Bravo!

Nice poem , I didn't see Tori had a challenge up ...... or I might of had a go . lol

The Queens flag go's up and down and in the middle, it's up when she's at the palace, and half way up when she's not at home . sometimes it's nether (up nor in the middle).. then it's nameless cos someones died more or les . (so it's on the ground) , then I don't know if she's( in or out ) or she maybe at the funeral I have know doubt. God save are gracious Queen, God save are nobel Queen God save the Queen .
