I guess it could be worse. Dondi could be in the coop, wondering how he got a mouthful of feathers. And Snidely with a shotgun out looking for gators. Wouldn't he look just snazzy in some alligator boots.

Ahhh, the joys of the south, and the 30-6. After shooting one, I had a bruise that lasted a couple of days...I'll stick with my handguns thank you. But I love the poem, and I'm commiserating with poor Snidely. Everyone deserves the right to get smashed once in a while...but when it affects your job so...ah well. If you've got an extra cup of coffee, I'll take it.
