Do peanuts revisit their shells?

I have loved you all
but I am gone
the burden of gravity
has grown too long
If I had chose to longer stay
a weak body couldn't stand in the way.

All around was pain and confusion
now there's no more me
The prisoner does not
hang in the jail once free.
It isn't you I have escaped
but the yoke of burdens round my nape.

You also inspire me in poetry. Thanks.

The peanuts prayer

Thank you old precious protector of essence seed,

that continues through a new form fulfilling need.

I’ll do my best to do the same passing on our family tree,

falling to mother earth I’ll grow or be picked to feed.

Carrying on unending generations of our unchanged breed,

we worship sun and clouds of rain in our guiding principle creed.
We left and returned!

Concise, descriptive, smooth flowing. Very nice.

And a "Happy Hiram Holidays!" to you and the poetry clan,

from your friend in Taiwan

Oh, Yay! Thanks, Hap. THis made me blush at how juvenile mine is, but I don't mind at all when someone outshines me! In fact, I LOVE IT! YAY! My favorite lines; that first one and the final two. Left me with large lump in throat < followed by a lone tear down cheek. luvs you
