i love writting poetry is there anyone that can give me advice on how to write good or great poetry?

yes, i need help on how to write good poetry or great poetry, everyone says that i am good at writting poetry but i wanna get better, can anyone out there please help me, im stuck, or at least give me a list on what to write poetry/poems on, because im stuck, anything will help.. Please and thank you!!!!

Read the great poets and learn their techniques. If you were an advanced student of the guitar, you would study the styles of the great guitarists, right? It's the same with writing poetry. A broad and deep intimacy with the great poets will create a useful palette from which you can work when you write your own poems.



And don't be afraid to be different.
