‘Crapper whapper, bugsy do’

Fertile Myrtle steady Freddy
Tar papering, dirt pack flooring
Tin canny roof rainy chimes
Loving cooking bedding creaking

Herding sheep herding children
Fertile Myrtle steady Freddy
Raising right raising strong
Loving cooking kiddies growing

‘Crapper whapper, bugsy do’
Fertile Myrtle deady Freddy
Blackie lungs blackie death
Loving cooking loving crying

Fertile Myrtle steady Eddie
Blackie death unafraid
Son of Freddy now the Pappy
Steady Eddie son of Freddy

‘Crapper whapper, bugsy do’

To me...that the coal companies are yet not in compliance with regulatory conditions in their mines. The miners, who for the main,

work in terrible conditions...and their sons follow in their footsteps.

Every year a mine disaster...and on and on it goes. "Not our fault!"

boasts the mine owners. Rather resembling the government...no?

This is excellent. Black Lung. (They sing, they sing.)

Interesting poem, the style reminds me of "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll.

I have no clue what "crapper whapper, bugsy do" means.

I can see this new change in style. And yes, the words have sounds. It's fun to write and explore new avenues, isn't it? Regarding the poem, it is sad. Poor Myrtle and her beloved Freddy. The life you write about has been experienced by too many.

Rien. I mean nothing. I have no idea. Being foreign and all that. I just let myself be agreeably teased by the sounds of those words. I read it aloud and it is a real tongue twister for me! Sounds like a nursery rhyme for adults! I love it.

Sound is power and energy...I can hear Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger

singing this in West Virginia...To echo Semper, Wow!

I have to admit to drawing a blank, though, being from a steel mill town I might guess lung cancer.

I need a hint.

This is real poetry. At first glance, I thought you were doing a Quatern. Give us a hint; is this a new or classical form I have missed.

Sounds like a West Virginia coal mine family.
