So unhappy, ma. i'm particularly sorry. there has been alcoholism interior of each and every era of our kin. A dying at 50, one at 40 5, almost one at 17 (close to deadly twist of destiny mutually as intoxicated). unusual ingredient is all of us drink socially, basically some have developed the ailment (so a techniques) ... and particular, it somewhat is heartbreaking. One grew to become into 75 years previous, yet in any different case healthful ... that guy or woman did no longer even initiate eating heavily until retiring from artwork at age seventy one (boredom?) i'm hoping that this pal gets help now ... i do no longer think of they comprehend that they do no longer seem to be basically harming themselves ... until some style of scientific care is sought. commonly, people who turn to alcohol are particularly depressed ... yet alcohol, being a depressant, basically makes that worse. it somewhat is like a vicious cycle for those with the ailment.

Christmas is here

Let's raise a glass of good cheer

Snow is on the ground

Covering up the ugly brown

Look it's Santa, down the chimney he comes

Bringing presents for all, for everyone

A gift for Mark, a gift for Mel

It's a new ringtone for their cell

A gift for Wendy and a gift for Catie

What is the wrapper for the ladies

Oh dear Santa, don't forget our Anabel

She's at the beach, collecting shells

The best for last, that's Mr D.

He's the teacher, he wants Suzy

Christmas Long Ago

A Christmas Poem by Jo Geis

Frosty days and ice-still nights,

Fir trees trimmed with tiny lights,

Sound of sleigh bells in the snow,

That was Christmas long ago.

Tykes on sleds and shouts of glee,

Icy-window filigree,

Sugarplums and candle glow,

Part of Christmas long ago.

Footsteps stealthy on the stair,

Sweet-voiced carols in the air,

Stocking hanging in a row,

Tell of Christmas long ago.

Starry nights so still and blue,

Good friends calling out to you,

Life, so fact, will always slow...

For dreams of Christmas long ago.
