LIBRA HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Libran's are from a world of a kind,
Of those who have a beautiful mind.
They are very methodical and enchanting,
Their smile is very, very charming.
Libras is a world to earn name and fame,
Their glances win hearts all the same,
Of those who reward them with a Rose,
My dear Libras are, to whom the universe,
The lovers' the classic winners,
Would all love to propose.
My Dear...............................
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.................
From....................
With a bunch of roses to you.

Some Summers Past

Some summers past, we were standing,
For each others’ better halves waiting,
It was then our eyes did glance,
And their arrival we forgot perchance.

It was then your eyes met mine again,
Yes it was some summers past,
We smiled and blushed
At each others arms we thrust.
It was as if a moment God sent,
It was our summer at the end.

That day we still remember till today,
When we met that summers' day,
Ever since we have been two souls
Yet only in one, since that summer,
Yes it was the summer of our lives,
A long remembered association,
At last we built upon a union.

Still today you know, we remember that day,
When we met for a long life’s stay,
Yes my sweetheart it was the summer

It was the best of life’s summers,
If we both can say
It was over a few decades ago,
But for us it is still as if
It was just yesterday.
Yes many summers have passed away.

KISS ME MISS
Miss, Miss, do give me a kiss,
Kiss, kiss, I do not want to miss
Sis, where is your sis, I’ll give her a kiss

Then they say how one kisses, any way
What is French and what is American
What kiss is Japanese and what really is Chinese,
It’s all in ones imagination,

Those who are racial
Or have feelings of being commercial
Do not know how far a kiss can go
Even there down below.

Yes Miss can help, miss a train for you.
Just kiss and kiss and kiss
do not let any go amiss.
And you will see
That all kisses are for free

Yes before foreplay and after,
Even after any earthly disaster,
It’s a kiss that one hankers for
Since time's gone by for centuries for sure.
Now go ahead and kiss your dear,
Yes my friend without any fear,
Oh this secret message of kiss,
do not unfurl to your kissing miss.

AM I A POET??? KISS me; Miss

SMILE
Mostly I smile all the while
I smile all my way, in my inimical style,
And when I smile all my friends say
Are you happy, why are you so gay,

Then comes along this girl I knew
Phew, how lovely really unlike, so few.
I looked at her and smiled her way
She smiled at my smile right- away,
And then took my smile away.

I went unto her, for her hand to ask
Do you know what she had to give?
No, no, no, just do not ask.

She smiled back and gave a flying kiss,
Which honestly I tried to catch and was sure not miss.
Then as for a while I looked away,
She was gone far, far distance away

She took my smile away from me
And that’s when I lost my smile you see,
Do you now realise, how I lost my smile,
I myself was wondering all this while.

It was in the wilderness so far, heaven knows where,
And when she had gone and my smile wasn’t there,
I was all the time wondering, was that one you.
Return my smile you stole away,
Yes darling I love you in all life’s way

WHAT IS LOVE
Love is the nectar we all want,
And hold it in our hands like a cup,
How we wish it not to let it go,
As love is the only possession one does show. .

And hopes to nurse it for all times
Yet we hanker for more and do not share
What is love is love divine.
We always think of those times we wanted,
But our love was always daunted,
Hoping that some one will come our way
And upon us his whole beings love spray.

We still hope some day love will come our way
And lead us from the threshold of sadness
To a zone of timeless happiness;
And it will then only we will know
How love does blossom and glow.
back to me.

WHERE IS MY LOVE
Last time we met it was perhaps our last.
Then it was up in our minds to forget the past.
My instinct tells me you are now in another’s arms.
But I know it is for just a while no more,
For when your lips turn dry you know
You will thirst for more, yes I mean more.
Only then you will know that you want

WHERE IS MY LOVE

All around me I find deathly silence,
It at times is so killing and does me silence.
Then suddenly I look around and become mad,
Where my dear where have you, it makes me sad.

Often I ask where I should go in search,
As my loved one has left me in the lurch,
I suddenly wonder if I sh

This was penned by a Canadian poet and pilot. His words stilll resonate to this day.

I hope you like and gain some insight from this poem.

Not only for what he said but for the simple and eloquent way he expressed himself.

Sometimes less can be more and simple can be beautiful.

High Flight

Oh I have slipped the surly bonds of earth

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings

Sunward Ive climbed and joined the tumbling mirth

of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things

You have not dreamed off wheeled and soared and swung

High in the sunlit silence, Hovring there

Ive chased the shouting winds along and flung my eager craft

through footless halls of air

Up up the long delirious burning blue

Ive topped the windswept heights with easy grace

Where never lark or even eagle flew

And while with silent lifting mind Ive trod

The high untresspassed sanctity of space

Put out my hand and touched the face of God

By John Gillespie Magee jr

This poem was found in the personel effects of this Canadian pilot who was killed during his first mission in WW1

all of us stay for those verbs and adjectives and submerse ourselves in words. from time to time, such as you, i think as though i'm drowning in them. Your rhymes make song, as your soul continually does. I understand the sentiments of humility as quickly as I examine the outpourings of the administrative Martian. This one humbles me to boot.
