It's not so much the physical location, but the time of day and I don't know why, but usually in the night, words and lines come to me.

The physical location is my home, but the true location is my mind - my mind, my thrilling mind is spilling it's thoughts and feelings.

Yeah, I tend to wander in my writing places. If I am depressed I usually sit on my roof in the middle of the night. Or, If i need serenity, I like seclusion, the woods, or out in the middle of the lake on my boat.

Most of the time I write at my computer where no one will disturb me and I will have on my head set to soft music because it inspires me.

for poetry, i prefer quiet seclusion like a corner at the park or locked up in solitude in my basement with a bottle of cognac. i let my imagination wander freely.

it really depends on if im planning to write or if i just have to whip out my notebook before i explode. If im planning then i go someplace serene.

No, any old place will do for me --but maybe I should have a designated comfy place and I would do better--lol--
