Can I get someones opinion on my 'haiku'?

Question

At least I think its a haiku...I'm not sure...
Anyway...


Screaming she remains unheard
Resistant she remains unlured
the more she hides
the more he seeks
Close her eyes
She doesn't peak
He makes her want to run and hide
Forces joy to suicide
F&cks her just a little more
She'll become his little wh&re
Left alone beyond his care
Leaving him she did not dare
Beyond the pain she could not see
from this deep hole she could not flee
Broken down he drags her too
Leaving him she did not do
Beyond this pain she could not flee
from the bottomless pit she could not see
Close her eyes
She doesn't speak
Beneath it all she doesn't peak....

A haiku is only 3 lines, as well as that i think it goes by the 575 law of syllables.

that would count as a (bad) Haiku



PS, very good poem though, i cant think of a lot to do with it.

that is not a haiku. A haiku is 5 syllables on the first line. Seven on the second, and five on the third. But that poem is reeaaaallllyyy good anyway. Keep writing poetry.

sorry but this is not a "haiku". a "haiku" has a set number of lines

with a set number of syllables for each line. 3 lines 5 syllables in first 7 in second and 5 in third also it contains no rhymes

I like it but its not a haiku. Search haiku in dictionary.com if you want to know what qualities a poem needs to be a haiku.



As for the poem, I really like it. It has meaning and even rhymes. Good work.

the first line has to have 5 syllabols in the whole sentence



the second line has to have 7 syllablos in the whole sentence



the last has to have 5 syllabols in the whole sentence.... do you get it?

I too love haikus simply by fact they are complicated. you have such strict limits and you need to grant something great. they are lots of relaxing to place in writing, and each now and then i like to goof around with them, making humorous little sayings. i myself like haikus, purely like i admire short poems :)
