I am making a collage of sorts to frame and give to my grandmother for christmas. It has two old black and white photos of her parents who are both deceased. I would like to include a classic, old timey poem. My great grandfather was in the army and fought in WWII, I do not know much about my great grandmother as she died when I was a baby. My great grandfather passed away a couple years ago and he never so much as looked at another woman. I would like a poem that emphasizes this sort of love, as it doesn't happen very often anymore. Thank you!!

XLIII. "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

I love thee to the level of everyday's

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;

I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love thee with a passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

He was looking for someone who he could leave his eternal love with

she was looking for someone who needed precious love to be kept

then one day just like two birds on a branch they were together

so releaved to find someone who knew how precious true love is

knowing in her eyes he had found a safe love, an eternal love

leaving him free to conquer all that stood in their way of happiness

as she knew deep in her heart that her love was not in vain

that no matter where they were his true love was hers forever

that she would have no revial to be jealous of

no one that could come between them throughout eternity

Both hearts free of worry, free of doubt, free of any concern

It made them sad to see others so doubtful of their love

questioning whether or not it was real or just a dream

Both of them knowing that true love will always be

Both of them knowing that true love will never die

it is not a poem even however that's a love letter. ....Be calm; for decrease than by using calm attention of our lives do we gain our objective to stay at the same time - Be calm - love me - immediately - the day earlier immediately - what tearful craving for you - for you - you - my existence - my all - all good desires to you. Oh proceed to love me - in no way misjudge the main dedicated heart of your lover. ever yours ever mine ever ours
