(Yes, having some fun)

I Wrote a Book

I wrote a book, a poet I surely be.
My words of course are golden gold.
I wrote a book, a poet’s poet is me.

No doubters as everyone does agree
as pages turn my wisdom’s wit is told,
I wrote a book, a poet I surely be,

Did not need no fancy word degree
my chosen dialect is always bold
I wrote a book, a poet’s poet is me.

Appreciate when they call me gutsy
and tell me that I sure did break the mold.
I wrote a book, a poet I surely be.

They say my rambling on ramble is key
to an election about to unfold.
I wrote a book, a poet’s poet is me.

Will certainly be a new Inductee
to a Poet’s Hall of Something I’m told.
I wrote a book, a poet I surely be.
I wrote a book, a poet’s poet is me.

Yes! "Paradox" by Celina Vega :) I bought it directly from her on Amazon because I wanted it signed and she included some secret goodies that are her future products. Definitely recommend!

A really FINE piece of work. If I were half so bad a rhyming poet as I claim to be, I'd be forced (by your work here) to put a bullet through my brain.

But the aim of this poem is vain: You can never convince the fameseeker that seeking fame is . . . .

So, maybe, if you tackle this theme again, you might want to make a reference to 'Ozymandias?' You have the technical horsepower to make it effective.
