Ok i have two question about like this poem thingyy.?

Well first question is this a poem or what is this called? :
Please stand by me
hold my hand and balance me
Make my heart go round and round
Till i drop and hit the ground,
And when i wish apon a star you'll
be there with open arms.

My second question is this a good poem thingyy?

Yes, it is a poem, free verse. But still amateur. However, it is promising. Your second line is a paradox, an element in poetry. Your fifth line mispells a word, which is a no-no. (How old are you?) Your third and fourth lines sound good, which is the reason why I say it's promising. Poetry writing is not breaking grammar rules. It is using grammar to sound different but in good taste. Perhaps the last line may be written something like this: "star...(delete you'll") / the star will take me to where you are" or "i see the winks of a million stars". But it's your poem. I'm just thinking out loud. Write, read, and write more. I know you will improve and will be a great poet one day. Don't forget to send me your book huh? Thanks.
